Georgia defeated Texas 30-15 in Week 8 of the college football season, and now the Dawgs are the new favorites leading the way on the College Football Playoff championship oddsboard.

They moved up the board to +360 from +500 after beating the Longhorns in Austin. Before the start of the season, the Bulldogs opened as the favorites to win it all.

Georgia was idle in Week 9, but its odds shortened slightly to +340 ahead of its rival game against Florida in Week 10.

This season, however, the College Football Playoff will feature 12 teams instead of four. 

So with that in mind, let’s dive into the championship odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 28.

Texas A&M: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
Ole Miss Rebels: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
Notre Dame: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)

Georgia hands Texas first loss of the season with upset win in Austin

Behind Georgia is Ohio State at +450.

The Buckeyes’ odds lengthened from +400 after they escaped Nebraska 21-17. 

Oregon moved into the third position on the board, shortening slightly to +475 from +500 after routing Illinois 38-9.

Texas fell to fourth, moving to +500 from +475 after barely beating Vanderbilt 27-24.

Alabama stayed put at +2000 after shutting out Missouri 34-0, and LSU tumbled to +6000 from +3500 after its 38-23 loss to Texas A&M.
