2024 NFL AFC, NFC Championship odds: Chiefs, Lions favored 2024 NFL AFC, NFC Championship odds: Chiefs, Lions favored

The NFL playoffs are inching closer, and only a few spots remain.

Could you have guessed that the defending champion Chiefs are already in?

So far, joining them as guaranteed playoff participants are the Bills, Eagles, Lions, Steelers, Ravens, Packers, Texans, Chargers, Rams, Commanders and Vikings. The final spot in both conferences is up for grabs.

With that, it’s time to look at which teams will make it to the final weekend and play in Super Bowl LIX. Let’s check out the odds at Draftkings Sportsbook, as of Dec. 31.

NFC Conference Winner Odds:

Lions: +180 (bet $10 to win $28 total)
Eagles: +340 (bet $10 to win $44 total)
Vikings: +380 (bet $10 to win $48 total)
Packers: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
Rams: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Buccaneers: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Commanders: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)

The Big Picture: The NFC is stacked at the top, with the Lions and Vikings sitting at 14-2, and the Eagles at 13-3. The top seed in the conference will come down to a Week 18 matchup between the Lions and Vikings at Ford Field. Detroit already has one win over Minnesota this season, but whoever wins that Week 18 game will finish the season at 15-2 and claim the singular bye in the NFC. Meanwhile, the loser of that game will enter the playoffs as the fifth seed and have a road game to open the postseason.

Lions beat 49ers, 40-34: Was Detroit reckless playing its starters?

AFC Conference Winner Odds:

Chiefs: +150 (bet $10 to win $25 total)
Bills: +280 (bet $10 to win $38 total)
Ravens: +340 (bet $10 to win $44 total)
Chargers: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Steelers: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
Broncos: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
Texans: +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total)
Dolphins: +9000 (bet $10 to win $910 total)

The Big Picture: As has become a yearly routine, the AFC is all about who can knock off Kansas City, winners of four of the last five AFC title games. And at 15-1, the Chiefs have clinched the No. 1 seed, meaning all roads go through Arrowhead. Buffalo, at 13-3, will be the second seed, and it gave the Chiefs their only loss of the year so far. Is this finally the Bills’ year?
