Tennessee took a gamble, and it chalked.

Star safety Jamal Adams saw his time with the Tennessee Titans come to end Thursday after he was released by the franchise after the three-time Pro Bowler was recently issued to the reserve/non-football injury list. And to make this whole thing completely cold-blooded, the Titans made the move on his 29th birthday. (Per his request, but still!)

Business is business, I guess, yikes! (RELATED: ‘I See Guys Lazy’: Troy Aikman Blasts Cowboys For ‘Terrible’ Play Following Horrific Defeat Against Lions)

The 1-4 Titans cut Adams after they already sidelined him due to a hip injury. In three games played, Adams started in one for Tennessee, and during that stretch, he only had one tackle to his name that took place in the Sept. 30 Titans victory against the Miami Dolphins.

In 2017, Adams was a first-round draft pick when he was selected by the New York Jets. Last offseason, he inked a one-year contract with Tennessee, doing so just prior to training camp getting started in July.

This is a bit of a bummer, I was hoping everything was going to work out for Jamal in Nashville.

I mean, damn, this man needs to be appreciated for his swag alone.

The thing is, he’s only 29, he can still do something in the league … it’s just that damn health. (Adam and Eve should’ve never bit that apple)
