Tom Cruise proved that he is showing no signs of slowing down in the thrilling new trailer for the “Mission Impossible 8” film.

Paramount Pictures dropped the new clip Nov. 11 and it’s enough to make fans across the globe giddy with excitement for the next installment in the franchise. The teaser clip exposed the name of the movie “Mission Impossible 8: The Final Reckoning” and assured fans that Cruise hasn’t missed a beat. The action-packed footage showed glimpses of Cruise’s heroic stunts as he continues to fight against a dangerous artificial intelligence program called “The Entity.”

Snippets from the movie flickered quickly, showing Cruise behind the wheel of a speeding car, running dramatically, holding a jagged knife and navigating a series of challenging moments, including scuba diving through a wrecked submarine. It’s safe to say the 62-year-old continues to defy the aging process as he throws himself into more daredevil stunt scenes that leave fans craving more.

The film was originally intended as the second part of 2023’s “Dead Reckoning,” but was delayed by the pandemic as well as the SAG-AFTRA strike, according to Variety.

Cruise took to social media shortly after the movie trailer was released and promoted his latest project.

“Our lives are the sum of our choices. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. See you at the movies May 23, 2025,” he wrote.

The video showed Cruise in the role of Ethan Hunt, who managed to survive a train crash only to discover The Entity is stashed aboard an old Russian submarine. However, an enemy from the past named Gabriel (Esai Morales) is also on a quest to find The Entity. Morales returns along with Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Henry Czerny, Greg Tarzan Davis, Mariela Garriga and Indira Varma.
