Hugh Jackman announces his upcoming 2025 Radio City Music Hall Concert Series in a comedic video shared on Instagram, Wednesday.
“This is my time” Jackman said in his announcement video. He declared his official return to the stage alongside his “Deadpool & Wolverine” costar, Ryan Reynolds. The famous actor told fans he would show off his singing chops by performing a series of 12 concerts, titled “From New York, with Love” at Radio City Music Hall in New York City in 2025.
The 55-year-old star engaged in casual banter with Reynolds as part of his big reveal.
“Hey Ryan, you want come to one of my live performances at Radio City Music Hall?” Jackman asked Reynolds.
He then agreed to involve Reynolds in the show while shaking his head on camera to tip fans off to the fact that he wasn’t really going to.
“I’m not going to be in it?” Reynolds asked.
Jackman admitted, “Um, on stage, no. But in my heart, yeah.”
The concert series will kick off Jan. 24, 2025 and will continue on weekends spanning from April to July. The two final shows have been slated for Aug. 15 and 16.
Jackman is not a stranger to the live stage. He won a Tony Award in 2004 for his performance in “The Boy from Oz,” has performed in a variety of Broadway productions. He has also hosted the 81st Academy Awards in 2009. (RELATED: Hugh Jackman Says He Used To Work As Clown Before Becoming Famous)
Fans that want to leap right into ticket purchases can take advantage of the artist pre-sale starting on Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. ET. General ticket sales will open to the general public starting Oct. 18.
