Anthony Edwards Reportedly Demands Paternity Test From Woman Claiming To Have Had His Child

NBA star Anthony Edwards reportedly petitioned Ayesha Howard, rapper Lil Baby’s former girlfriend, for paternity and child support.

The Minnesota Timberwolves player filed legal documents in September to confirm whether he is the biological father of Howard’s child, according to documents Page Six obtained Thursday. The 23-year-old influencer, who touts over half a million Instagram followers, also shares a child with Lil Baby.

Edwards has requested the court to order genetic testing for himself, Howard and the child in question, the outlet reported.

“If genetic testing shows that the petitioner is the father, the petitioner requests an order establishing the minor child’s paternity,” the documents state, according to the outlet.

A status conference has been scheduled to address the matter in court Nov. 13.

Howard posts under the moniker “Little Ms. Golden,” and has not publicly shared any information suggesting she had recently been pregnant or given birth. Howard, whose Instagram page is typically very active, has been unusually quiet on the platform in recent months.

Howard’s most recent post was shared in May and featured her posing in a tight-fitting outfit, showing no obvious signs of pregnancy.

She shares a young son named Jason with Lil Baby and frequently shares photos of him on social media.

Edwards, who has reportedly fathered three children in a short timeframe, largely keeps his family out of the spotlight.

The Timberwolves’ broadcast reported that the basketball player rushed away from a March 2 game against the Sacramento Kings to witness the birth of his first child with his girlfriend, Shannon, according to CBS Sports. 

The Olympic basketball player allegedly fathered a child shortly thereafter with a social media user who identified herself as “Ally D,” according to Sportskeeda.

Ally D, who did not reveal her true identity, claimed Edwards “had a little girl before our son, literally a month before.” She alluded that Edwards had also just fathered another baby with someone else, though it’s unclear if she was referencing Howard and the child listed in the paternity suit.
