Tim Walz has been buffoonishly cosplaying as America’s Dad, but it’s clear who really holds that title.
Donald Trump took the rite of passage every father holds dear Thursday, spilling the embarrassing details of his youngest son Barron’s love life — or lack thereof.
“I’m not sure he’s there yet,” Trump said when podcast host Patrick Bet-David asked if Barron “is good with the ladies in school.”
“He’s not so little. He’s a very tall guy. He’s very smart. He doesn’t mind being alone, but he’s someone who gets along with people. He’s not an average 18 year old. He’s very handsome,” Trump gushed. (Stream Daily Caller documentary “Selling Sex” here)
“I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet,” he concluded, unable to resist the natural fatherly urge to offer a stranger TMI on his kids.

Everything about this is fantastic. First off, there’s no shame in a college freshman not yet having a girlfriend. There are far more important things for sensitive young men to focus on, and the toxic dating scene on rad-fem college campuses often makes casual dating not worth the risk — especially for the son of the world’s most radioactive man. But it’s still endearing as hell to listen to Trump gush over his baby boy.
This is an instant antidote for anyone who thinks Trump is evil, megalomaniac, literally worse than Hitler. All they have to do is listen to him talk about his son.
Trump isn’t standing in the brink, facing assassins’ bullets, tyrannical lawfare and Deep State schemes, merely to solidify his own power and legacy. He’s not doing it for personal gain or ideological fervor or even to Make America Great Again for its own sake. Like every great father, he’s doing it to make the world a better place for his young son to live a long, happy and fulfilling life. And maybe one day finally land that girlfriend.
