Nicole Kidman said she was so hot and bothered during the filming of “Babygirl” that she had to stop filming.
The 57-year-old actress stripped naked for the role of a workaholic named Romy, and in one of the scenes she got down on her hands and knees to lap milk from a saucer while stuffing her employee’s tie in her mouth, according to The Sun. She admitted that filming the erotic thriller was too hot to handle at times.
“It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me’” she told The Sun in an interview published Oct.22.
“There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more,’” Kidman said.
In the film, Kidman’s character, CEO Romy, is married to Jacob, played by Banderas. She becomes entangled in an affair with a young intern, Samuel, played by Harris Dickinson.
Kidman’s character longed to be dominated in the bedroom, and Samuel was all for it. He explained the rules of their relationship to Kidman’s character by saying, “I tell you what to do and you do it,” as the sex scenes unfolded.
The famous actress is no stranger to filming bold sex scenes but she admitted to The Sun that this particular movie turned up the heat for her in a big way, and she said simulating sex became too intense for her at times.
“Don’t come near me. I hate doing this,” Kidman said, as she attempted to come to terms with the climax-acting.
“There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration,” Kidman went on to tell The Sun as she filmed raunchy scenes with the two men, and she admitted some of the situations she was in were so hot that she had to order the men not to touch her because she couldn’t take it anymore.
The famous actress said they used an intimacy coordinator while shooting the sex scenes, but she made sure she wasn’t “confined” by the coordinator dictating what they could do, according to the outlet.
“I’m a huge believer still in the sacredness of the set or the actors’ space, and it never, never being violated,” Kidman said. (RELATED: ‘Very Exposed’: Nicole Kidman Reveals Self-Doubt After Filming Intense Sex Scenes)
“Because it’s ours, it’s the bubble, and then there’s the world outside,” she told The Sun.
