December 9th, mark it on your calendar.
When the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals square off against each other in the Dec. 9 edition of “Monday Night Football,” the game will bring along the debut of “The Simpsons Funday Football.” In the stream, the game will be animated and correlated with real time results, and of course, everything will be happening in the world of “The Simpsons.” (RELATED: Super Bowl XLVII MVP Joe Flacco Gets Another Shot At Starter Job After Colts Bench ‘Tired’ Anthony Richardson: REPORT)
The special edition of the game will be streamed on Disney+, ESPN+ and NFL+, and be similar to the “Funday Football” x “Toy Story” crossover from Disney, ESPN and the NFL last season.
In the game, Homer Simpson will be joined up with Dallas, while his son Bart will be aligned with Cincinnati. And both will apparently be involved in the action from time to time. As far as the rest of the main cast, Marge and Lisa will be holding interviews with players, while Maggie will have SkyCam duties. On top of that, we’ll also get appearances from other key characters and references from the show throughout the game.
