Margot Robbie Gives Birth To First Child: Report

Film and television star Margot Robbie gave birth to her first child, People reported Saturday.

The 34-year-old actress and her husband, Tom Ackerley, welcomed a baby boy into the world, according to the outlet. The child’s name and exact date of birth are currently unknown to the public.

Robbie, the highest-paid actress of 2023 according to Forbes, made her first public appearance since becoming pregnant at Wimbledon with Ackerley, the outlet reported. At that July 2024 reveal, she wore a black and white polka dot dress and carried a matching bowling-style bag.

The actress has since been seen wearing several stylish maternity looks, such as a monochromatic white ensemble in Santa Monica and a black outfit in Los Angeles, People reported.

Robbie revealed in January 2024 she was taking a break from acting. The “Barbie” star said she hoped to work behind the scenes following her career of multiple notable on-screen roles.

“Everyone’s probably sick of the sight of me now,” Robbie said. “I should probably disappear from screens for a while.” (RELATED: Donald Trump Announces Major Family News)

“Honestly, if I did another movie too soon, people would say, ‘Her again? We just did a whole summer with her. We’re over it.’ I don’t know what I’ll do next, but I hope it’s a little while away,” she added.

Robbie and Ackerley first met in 2013 on the set of “Suite Française,” a World War II drama she starred in while he was an assistant director, according to the outlet.

The couple married in December 2016 in a private ceremony in Australia’s Byron Bay, according to the outlet. Neither Robbie nor Ackerley made public their engagement prior to the wedding, the outlet noted.
