Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis Jr. issued a statement requesting assistance in apprehending thieves that allegedly broke into his home during a game.
He shared footage from his residential video surveillance cameras Sunday on X and offered a reward for the return of his personal items.
“I consider Milwaukee my home,” Portis Jr. said. “Last night, while I was at work, my home was burglarized, and many of my prized possessions were stolen. If you have any tips or info, please send them to info@bobbyportis.com. Rewards for info leading to recovery or arrests!” he wrote in his statement.
The video showed what appeared to be two suspects attempting to gain entry to his home.

Portis Jr. highlighted his love for the community as he addressed the crime that allegedly unfolded at his home.
“I’ve grown here, I come here a boy and elevated it to a man,” he told his fans. “The love you guys give me here, this is something that I never felt before in my NBA career.”
“I’ve tried to uplift the community and make Milwaukee a better place, giving food drives, talking to the youth on the regular,” he said, as he listed the numerous things he has done for locals.
The video of the two alleged burglars was shared right next to this video as he spoke. Two men in what appeared to be white snow jackets and ski masks could be seen working on the lock on his door.
“While I was at my game yesterday, I had a home invasion and they took most of my prized possessions,” Portis Jr. alleged.
“Any info that leads to the return of any of my belongings will be rewarded handsomely.” (RELATED: Sydney Sweeney’s Call To Police Reportedly Helps Nab A Suspect)
The basketball star didn’t provide any insight as to what precisely was taken from his home by the alleged thieves, or what the estimated value of the stolen goods was. He used the term “home invasion,” but didn’t specify if there was anyone inside his home at the time of the alleged crime.
