Cooper Flagg already had me sold, so where the hell do I invest?
Duke guard Cooper Flagg made his debut Monday night for the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium, and my man made it clear: He’ll most certainly have a legacy when he’s done in Durham.
Near the end of the first half in a game taking on Maine, Flagg got around Black Bears guard Quion Burns and caught mad distance in the air, and then quickly transitioned the ball from his left hand to his right before putting down an absolutely ferocious dunk from over his head — it was incredible! And the Cameron Crazies reacted like you would expect: They blew the roof off the place.
Flagg finished with a stat line of 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals, with Duke blowing out Maine by a 96-62 score.

You know, I was honestly expecting a little better stat line from Cooper than what we got, and his shooting wasn’t the best, only going 6-15 (0-4 3PT), but I’m not going to be too hard on him with it being his first game. And that dunk… Look, I get there’s a lot of Duke haters out there, but how can you hate on that?
Give him a couple more games to get adjusted to the college level, and this dude will be ballin’ like the hyped up superstar he is — take that to the bank.
