Rachel Maddow’s doppelganger is still on a rehabilitation tour for an offhand comment that everyone has already forgotten — except him.
Maddow Jr., also known as Mark Cuban, has recently hit the campaign trail for Kamala Harris, not so much out of genuine support for the vice president but more so to spite Elon Musk and Donald Trump. The supposed feminist ticked off conservative women in late October when he claimed that Trump never surrounds himself with “strong, intelligent women.” (Stream Daily Caller’s latest documentary ‘Cleaning Up Kamala’ HERE)
“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever,” the billionaire said Oct. 31 on “The View,” the second-worst show in America behind “Shark Tank.”
“It’s just that simple. They’re intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them, and, you know, Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her around. It wouldn’t work.”
On Monday, Maddow Jr. did some more cleanup work in the Daily Mail of all places, and claimed his wife, Tiffany, saw the interview and that she took no issue with the comment. (Click HERE to sign up for Mr. Right’s weekly newsletter)
“It’s part of politics, it was my mistake and I apologized for it. I certainly wasn’t saying anything negative about anyone supporting Trump,” Maddow Jr. told the outlet, before adding, “Tiffany watched the entire interview and had no issue with it. She knew what I was trying to say.”
It’s getting to the point where I can’t tell Mark Cuban from Rachel Maddow. pic.twitter.com/mL5xtEjWdF

Indeed, Dr. Jebra Faushay, it’s getting to the point where I, too, cannot tell Mark Cuban from MSNBC’s lesbian anchor and chief BlueAnon conspiracy theorist, Rachel Maddow. A lot of it has to do with Jr.’s choice of eyeglasses, which bear an uncanny resemblance to Maddow’s frames. See Exhibit A below.

It’s also getting to the point where Maddow Jr.’s profuse apologies are beginning to feel disingenuous and hollow. When someone keeps apologizing unnecessarily, it suggests they did set out from the get-go to harm or insult, and so in this case, Jr.’s “I certainly wasn’t saying anything negative about anyone supporting Trump” might as well read, “I certainly was saying negative things about Trump supporters.” The doppelganger doth protest too much!
Just like Maddow could never let go of the conspiracy that the Russian Kremlin had infiltrated the White House in 2016, I doubt Jr. will let go of this anti-conservative women line, even though the rest of MAGA world has since moved on. Color me shocked when, a week from now, he issues yet another apology, especially if Trump wins.
