Woah! Deebo!
Without a doubt, the San Francisco 49ers have been one of the top disappointments in the 2024 NFL season. In the 2023 campaign, they managed to make it to the Super Bowl (though suffering defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs), but in the current year, they limped out of the gate to a 4-4 record heading into the road game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Well, the poor play continued for the Niners against the Bucs, leading to yet another defeat to downgrade them to 4-5. And now the losing is starting to take its toll on the team, and in flying colors at that. After kicker Jake Moody missed not one, not two, but three field goals in the game, a boiling point was reached as wide receiver Deebo Samuel was caught on camera grabbing long snapper Taybor Pepper‘s throat while back on the sideline.
Needless to say, not a good look for Deebo & Co.

The amount of times I’ve seen a Super Bowl layover, where a team makes the Big Game just to flub it all up the next year, is astounding. And now here we go with the San Francisco 49ers.
A tail as old as time in the National Football League.
