Just Wemby out here doing Wemby things!
San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama went the hell off Wednesday in his team’s 139-130 victory against the Washington Wizards, showcasing why he was the No. 1 pick of the 2023 NBA Draft and how he nearly led France to a gold medal in the Olympics. Wembanyama was absolutely incredible, scoring a career-high with 50 points, which made him both the youngest center ever in NBA history and the fourth-youngest overall to accomplish the feat. Wemby was lights out shooting 18-of-29, and his performance was made even more flabbergasting with an 8-of-16 mark from the three-point line.
Oh, but Victor Wembanyama’s historic night doesn’t stop there. With the threes that he hit, he also put himself as the first-ever center in league history to have three consecutive games where he knocked down at least 5 shots from behind the arc.
A HISTORIC night for Wemby.
