Prosecutors Cite New Allegations Against Diddy Amid Rapper’s Third Bail Hearing Prosecutors Cite New Allegations Against Diddy Amid Rapper’s Third Bail Hearing

Prosecutors allege Sean “Diddy” Combs abused his personal staff and broke federal prison rules while incarcerated by seeking to intimidate potential witnesses.

The allegations were revealed in a letter to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, who is currently reviewing the rapper’s case to determine if he will grant his third request for bail, People reported Monday. The prosecution alleged Diddy “physically abused his personal staff” and led a “relentless” campaign to “blackmail” witnesses during his time behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Two previous judges denied Diddy’s request to be released. The rapper appeared in court for a bail hearing in Manhattan federal court Nov. 22. His attorneys proposed $50 million bail and strict release conditions, including 24/7 surveillance. His legal team also said that Diddy would live in a three-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side if he were to be granted bail on this third request, according to People.

“Beyond his romantic partners, the defendant also physically abused his personal staff,”  prosecutors allege. “Former staff members have described the defendant threatening to kill them, throwing objects at them, and being struck, punched, and shoved by the defendant, and seeing him do the same to others.”

The prosecution also alleged the Bad Boy Records founder once showed up at a woman’s house and tried to beat her door down with a hammer, according to People.

Diddy’s attorneys called the prosecution’s case “thin” in his most recent bail proposal.

The famous signer has maintained his innocence on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Subramanian’s decision on bail is expected in the coming days. (RELATED: Allegations Of Blood-Stained Sheets And Debauchery Emerge After Release Of Video Footage Reportedly From Diddy Party)
