A recently released video seems to show rapper Lil Xan ruthlessly beating on a man in the audience at his performance Saturday.
Police are reportedly on the hunt for the famous rapper after he was seen on video appearing to punch and kick a man at his show at the Boston nightclub Royale, according to TMZ. It’s unclear what set him off, but the video showed the rapper interacting with the audience members that stood in close proximity to the stage. He then reached down and a woman in the audience had an excited look on her face, which quickly turned into one of pure shock. Lil Xan appeared to swing the microphone right into a man’s face before proceeding to beat on him in the video.
The man was physically knocked down to the ground as he was apparently hit. The audience responded, but the audio was unclear in the video. It is not yet known exactly what may have triggered the rapper’s apparent violent response.
The man seemed to take a few moments before he was able to get back on his feet, but the apparent attack was far from over.

The video appeared to show Lil Xan leaning over the edge of the stage and kicking the male audience member in the head. The entire situation seemed chaotic, as other audience members rushed to the man’s assistance and attempted to get between the rapper and the audience member.
A different angle appeared to show the man flipping off the rapper, but at no point did it seem that he made any physical contact with him.
Sources told TMZ that security guards attempted to grab Lil Xan, but he fled the area before they were able to keep him from leaving.
Law enforcement sources said officers were summoned to the venue shortly after 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The sources said the call was regarding assault and battery, and a witness reportedly came forward to tell law enforcement that the alleged attack was unprovoked, according to TMZ. It is believed that the man refused medical assistance on-scene.
