With the snow in particular, the FOX Forecast Center reported that the Northeast’s higher terrains throughout interior portions will be getting the largest snowfall, with the Poconos, Green and White Mountains, the Catskills and the Adirondacks being among the most affected. Those areas could see up to a foot, while the valley areas are expected to only get one to two inches in comparison.
Travel will be dreadful because of hazardous conditions, with Interstate 87, Interstate 90, Interstate 91 and Interstate 93 all being impacted throughout the day.
Parts of New York, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont have been issued Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories. Most of these will last until Black Friday at the earliest.

The winter storm will also be impacting both the Southeast and mid-Atlantic, but their conditions will be in the form of severe weather. The regions will be getting hit with a line of thunderstorms during Thanksgiving, with a few possibly turning severe, according to the FOX Forecast Center.
The severe weather could potentially produce violent wind gusts and even a couple of tornadoes.
