The U.S. Supreme Court will soon decide whether red states have the right to ban medical child abuse. I’m talking, of course, about the horrifying euphemism of the transgender lobby’s “gender-affirming care.”
The Court is hearing oral arguments Wednesday morning on U.S. v Skrmetti, a case brought by the Biden administration challenging Tennessee’s ban of puberty blockers and hormone therapy for minors. The state imposes civil penalties on doctors who violate the law, but Tennessee is not the only state to target this medical abuse. Normal people believe kids should wait until they are adults to make such life altering decision, but radical left lunatics who increasingly call the shots in the medical industry say otherwise. Our investigative team took a deep dive into this destructive industry, showing that it’s not a matter of doctors and parents collaborating to decide what’s best for a child. Often, the doctor is a vicious transgender ideologue, pushing irreversible pharmaceuticals and/or surgeries onto a child and his or her parents. Parents want what’s best for their troubled child, and they generally trust the medical establishment. So when a doctor poses an ultimatum on the suicide of your child — “Would you rather have a dead son, or a living daughter?” — what else is the well-meaning parent to do? Parents often feel they have no choice but to consent to “gender-affirming care” on behalf of their child.
Yet, as “Damaged” showed, just because a treatment sounds gentle does not mean its result will be. “Gender affirming care,” in reality, can start with giving a child new clothes, new pronouns and even a new name at school — all without telling the parents. But at its most extreme, it means the chemical castration of young boys with powerful drugs once reserved only for the most depraved sex offenders. It can also mean ghoulish procedures like double mastectomies for young women, as well as grotesque “bottom surgeries” in which new genitals are painfully grafted from other parts of the body and take years to heal — if they ever do. And if they decide to change their mind as adults? Good luck getting help from doctors committed to the lie that “changing” your “gender” makes all your problems go away.
Kids — and parents — have a constitutional right to be protected from precisely this predator behavior. Kids should be able to just be kids, but too many have already had their innocence stolen from them by the transgender lobby. Watch “Damaged” today to hear their stories.
