Mother Arrested After Allegedly Abducting Children Mother Arrested After Allegedly Abducting Children

Police arrested a mother accused of abducting her three children Thursday in Alabama after a brief interstate pursuit, Augusta County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) in Virginia said.

Authorities were alerted after a caller reported three children — ages 6, 8 and 10 — were taken from a bus stop in Fishersville, Virginia, ACSO Sheriff Donald L. Smith wrote in a statement to Facebook. Investigators identified 35-year-old Shanice Chante Davison of Evergreen, Alabama, as the biological mother allegedly responsible for the children’s disappearance.

“The caller’s three children were waiting for the bus, when a black 4- Door vehicle pulled up to the bus stop, and took the children … an Amber alert is pending with the Virginia State Police.”

“This is an active investigation, and we are committed to reuniting the children with their legal guardians as quickly and safely as possible,” Smith added.

Davison was arrested without incident in the Birmingham area after a brief highway pursuit. All three children were safe and unharmed, Smith said in a Facebook update on the situation. (RELATED: Masked Men Abduct Victoria’s Secret Model Luciana Curtis And Family, Imprison Them In Shack: REPORT)
