Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ miracle win against the Los Angeles Chargers on “Sunday Night Football” — a game that saw a field goal doink right through the goal posts like it was carried in the hands of God — head coach Andy Reid only wanted to do one thing with his players when they got back to the locker room: pray.

“Let’s take a knee,” Reid said to his team after a victory speech.

Functioning like this, it’s no wonder the team won three Super Bowls in five seasons.
But Kansas City players aren’t just praying with their skipper; several of them also pray before contests to get a little pre-game energy from the Lord. Their superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes prays, their backup QB Carson Wentz prays, their other offensive players pray, hell, even their defensive guys who want to knock opponents into oblivion pray.
