OnlyFans model Sophie Rain said she makes $43 million a year posting explicit content, but insists her lifestyle doesn’t conflict with her Christian values.
Rain said she grew up attending church with her family in Tampa, Florida, every Sunday and was raised as a devout Christian. She’s now 20 years old and is not ashamed to admit that she posts racy, explicit content online for a living. She said she considers herself “thankful” for the big bucks she’s making on the adult-entertainment site and she pushed back against critics that think she has sold out on her religion, according to a recent interview published Dec. 11 by People .
She claims there is no conflict between her career choice and her religion at all.
Rain said that despite her choice to expose her body to strangers that are willing to pay to see her content, Christianity is still a substantial part of her identity. She told People that she makes sure to check in on her “home church” in Tampa when they stream their services online and maintains her connection with her religion.”
“The Lord’s very forgiving, and he put me on here,” Rain told People.
“He put me on earth for a reason and I’m just living every day,” she said, trying to make peace with coexisting in Christianity as well as in the porn industry.
“If this wasn’t meant for me, I wouldn’t be here right now,” she told People.

“Honestly, all the people online that hate me – and they post the mean comments and everything – that’s what motivates me to just keep growing and to keep booming and keep doing my own thing,” she said. “It just makes them mad for no reason. They don’t know me.”
