The FBI visited Ben Affleck’s Brentwood, Los Angeles, home as part of an ongoing investigation, TMZ reported Jan. 13.
The federal law enforcement agency, along with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies, were in the area investigating an incident in which a private drone collided with a firefighting aircraft, causing damage to the plane, according to TMZ. The aircraft was assisting the Los Angeles Fire Department with the battle against the raging wildfires in Los Angeles.

TMZ shared images it says were taken from Affleck’s residence, which showed the police officers departing the area, but it is not yet clear if they were investigating in the general area or if they were directly in contact with Affleck himself.
Sources close to the situation, according to TMZ, said the famous actor was not the target of the investigation.

The devastating fires continue to ravage the community. At least 24 people have lost their lives as a result of the wildfires and the death toll continues to rise.
Affleck was photographed leaving his home as part of mandatory evacuation orders that were issued in his region. Cameras captured images of the star looking at the flames from the safety of his vehicle before he drove off to check on his children and ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, to make sure they were ok, according to TMZ. The actor has been living in Brentwood since his recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
