REPORT: Woman Accuses Conor McGregor Of Sexual Assault, Files Lawsuit Against Fighter And NBA Team REPORT: Woman Accuses Conor McGregor Of Sexual Assault, Files Lawsuit Against Fighter And NBA Team

An identified female reportedly sued Conor McGregor and the Miami Heat over allegations of sexual assault dating back to 2023.

The woman, known only as “Jane Doe,” filed legal documents in a Florida federal court Tuesday, according to TMZ. Doe accused the UFC star of sexually assaulting her in the stall of a men’s restroom inside the Kesaya Center in Miami. The incident allegedly took place close to the arena’s nightclub on June 9, 2023, while the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets faced off in a playoff game.

She named the NBA team as part of her lawsuit, claiming that they were aware McGregor was a danger to people at the game. Team authorities allowed him to continue drinking alcohol and failed to protect her from him, according to the lawsuit.

Doe’s legal filing cited another incident that McGregor was involved in at the game. The UFC fighter hurt an actor wearing a mascot costume during a third-quarter skit on the court.

Authorities previously investigated the woman’s allegations of sexual assault and prosecutors declined to charge McGregor in October 2023.

Doe is suing for unspecified damages. No further information was provided regarding the circumstances leading up to the alleged sexual assault. No details surrounding whether or not the alleged victim was known to McGregor have been publicly shared at this time.

McGregor is being represented by Barbara Llanes from Gelber, Schachter & Greenberg. She issued a statement saying she does not anticipate that charges will be laid against her client as a result of these allegations.

“After a thorough investigation at the time, the State’s Attorney concluded that there was no case to pursue,” Llanes told TMZ

“Almost two years and at least three lawyers later the plaintiff has a new false story. We are confident that this case too will be dismissed,” she said. (RELATED: Liberal Author Neil Gaiman Who Said ‘I Believe Survivors’ Accused Of Sexual Assault)

This is the second legal matter McGregor has faced in recent months. The UFC fighter was found liable for assault in Ireland in November.
