No matter how you feel about the “king,” this is a crappy situation.
Things are quite scary in Los Angeles amid the raging fires that have been happening for a while now, and unfortunately there’s no end yet in sight. Each passing day, the news gets worse and worse, and here we are with another development as Lakers superstar LeBron James revealed that he and his family had to evacuate from their residence.
James and his family own a $23 million mansion located in the high-profile Brentwood neighborhood, per the Daily Mail. (RELATED: Chris Paul, Victor Wembanyama Do Coolest Thing Ever For JJ Redick’s Kids, Who Lost Memorabilia To California Fires)
“Personally, my family, we’ve been evacuated since Thursday night, so I’ve been in a hotel since pretty much when we got back from Dallas,” said James. “So — just figuring it out. But staying strong for one another. Obviously, that’s most important.”
James revealed the news when he was speaking to the press and offering his condolences to the citizens of L.A. who have been impacted by the fires.

Truly some sad stuff coming out of Los Angeles. It actually reminds me of this video I saw just recently.
Though it’s more on the happier side of things, which is always welcomed in tragedy:
