Bruce Willis’ wife shared a rare, intimate video of the legendary actor on social media Thursday.
Willis has largely remained out of the public sphere since being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, but appeared to be doing well in the newly released footage posted on Emma Heming Willis’ Instagram account. The brief black and white video showed the famous actor engaging with police officers as he shook their hands and thanked them for their efforts amid the raging Los Angeles wildfires.
“Spotting a first responder, Bruce never missed a chance to show his gratitude with a heartfelt handshake and a ‘thank you for your service.’ Yesterday was no different ❤️🤍💙,” his wife wrote in the caption.
Willis wore a hat and corduroy jacket while he exchanged pleasantries with the officers. They posed for photos and seemed to be enjoying their chat. Willis shook their hands and seemed happy and engaged in the conversation.
Willis’ daughter Tallulah gushed over the recent footage of her dad in a comment. “This makes my heart so freaking full,” she wrote.
“He really is an amazing human — nothing can take that from him,” another commenter wrote.
One social media user wrote, “Such a beautiful caring man. They will appreciate it so much too.”
Other comments included, “Always kind and always grateful. Your man is one of a kind! ❤️,” and “Nice reminder for the harder days that he is still in there♥️.” (RELATED: Bruce Willis And Demi Moore’s Daughter Tallulah Shares Shocking Diagnosis)
