Going forward, every soccer game needs to be like this.
Saturday brought us utter chaos that we’re just now finding out about as the match between the Tacoma Stars and Milwaukee Wave of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) broke out into a massive brawl between each team’s players. As far as the game itself, it was a wild one as the Wave won by an incredible 7-6 score with 10 different players scoring goals. But it’s not those fireworks that people are talking about — it’s what went down when the match was over.
Wave player Mario Alvarez put up his second goal of the campaign to lock up the victory over the Stars, and after the crazy showdown, players shook hands as usual. However, Tacoma’s Stefan Mijatovic ended up getting pushed in the middle of things, and all hell broke loose from there.
