The Philadelphia Eagles, the NFC team squaring off against the AFC’s Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, are going all out for a fan who suffered greatly after a cowardly terrorist attacked New Orleans during a New Year’s Day celebration.
A victim of the attack, Ryan Quigley, was injured severely when a 42-year-old loser (who is now dead) blasted his truck through the French Quarter crowds Jan. 1. The attack left 14 people dead and 57 injured.
Quigley has been dealing with pain ever since, both physically and emotionally. Not only is Quigley currently living with fractures throughout his body, but he also lost his teammate and best friend Tiger Bech, who played football for Princeton as a tight end. Well, to help him get through these dark days, the Eagles decided to invite Quigley to the Super Bowl. And it was a surprise at that.
Brandon Graham, a veteran pass rusher for the Eagles, showed up at Philadelphia’s NovaCare Complex while Quigley was rehabbing his injuries. And that’s where he surprised him with the Super Bowl invitation. The “Big Game” is in New Orleans, the same location of the terrorist attack.
The Eagles posted the video of the special moment on social media, with Bech’s family also being in attendance for Quigley’s rehab and to witness the SBLIX invite.
