The 126 million viewers that the NFL brought in isn’t just a flashy figure, it’s also the highest television ratings that the league has ever seen for the “Big Game.” The previous record was held by the 2024 edition of the Super Bowl, which eclipsed the 123.7 million mark.
In the second quarter from 8:00-8:15 p.m. ET, the Super Bowl hit its peak with 135.7 million viewers, according to initial figures. And it wasn’t just television where the NFL shined, they also brought in crazy numbers via streaming. Combined, NFL digital properties and Tubi tallied 14.5 million viewers, with 13.6 million of them watching through Tubi.

It’s hilarious how some people are giving Kendrick Lamar credit for the ratings hike. Nevermind the fact that people wanted to see a dominant Eagles team with a flashy Saquon Barkley prevent the Chiefs from three-peating, Kendrick played a big part. (LMAO)
Yeah, I’m sure America was lining up to see something that was also thrashed by hip hop’s own Joe Budden.
When Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl set leaked, Joe Budden thought it was fake and completely trashed it. Come to find out, it was real. 😳
