(The Center Square) – Top ranking Senate Republican Kim Ward said that Gov. Josh Shapiro’s proposed budget may spend a lot on public schools, but still doesn’t rescue kids trapped by their zip codes.
The Greensburg Republican noted during a press conference earlier this month that the governor ignored educational scholarships, again, after originally backing the program on the 2022 campaign trail and during his first year in office.
