Brad Marchand is a real one.
Going into the championship game of the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off between the United States and Canada, there’s been some trash talk going on. After all, it’s USA and “The Great White North,” this rivalry should be giving us pre-game sparks!
However, there’s also some love being spread courtesy of Canada and Boston Bruins left wing Brad Marchand towards Team USA. (RELATED: Ticket Prices For 4 Nations Face-Off Championship Game Are Expensive — Very, Very Expensive — And Yet I Still Want One)
Speaking to the media Wednesday, the captain of the Bruins praised the U.S., even going as far to say “they’re by far the best that I’ve played.”
“They’re by far the best that I’ve played,” said Marchand, according to Sportsnet. “No disrespect to the previous teams, but the way the game has evolved the past 10 years, some of the players on their team will be some of the best players to ever play the game of hockey.”

That prick Brandon Hagel could learn a lot from Marchand…

But ultimately as an American, I’m glad Hagel is running his mouth, because it gives us a thoroughbred reason to not just win the 4 Nations Face-Off, but to annihilate these Canadian losers.
No disrespect to Brad Marchand, but business is business.
