You really needed to do this on a one-foot putt?
The pace of play on the PGA Tour has been absolutely horrendous this season, there’s no debate about that. And yeah, you can say full-shot routines are also a part of the problem, but it’s what’s happening on the green that has people irritated.
Lucas Glover, a current PGA player and past U.S. Open champion, recently made the suggestion that the AimPoint technology should be ousted from the game as an easy and instant way to speed up the pace. (RELATED: Rory McIlroy Shuts Fan Down For Getting At His Caddie In Most Blunt Fashion Possible)
If you’re not familiar with AimPoint, it’s a green reading technique where players use their feet to figure out the science of a putt, followed by the golfer grading it, and then they hold fingers to their eyes to connect things to the cup. It slows the game down tremendously, and now it’s starting to become a problem with fans.
Several players in both the PGA and LPGA use the AimPoint technique, including A Lim Kim who went viral for using AimPoint on an incredibly easy one-foot putt. Things went down in the third round of Honda LPGA Thailand.

It’s nonsensical that Kim would feel the need to do this on a one-footer, and the golf world let her know about it.
