A group of young thieves broke into an electronic repair store Thursday morning in Florida and stole thousands of dollars in goods in roughly 11 seconds.

Techy Repair’s surveillance cameras captured the moment when the three children heisted the building around 1:00 a.m., CBS News reported Friday.

The footage showed the children entering the building after one of them threw a brick that smashed through the store window. The children, all of them masked, raced to the section of the store where the most expensive devices were stored and grabbed them.

Yovany Herrera, the store owner, told CBS News that he believes the heist was carefully planned. He mentioned that the children visited the store a week earlier and asked about his most expensive devices while he charged their phones.

“They ask if I have iPhone 15, iPhone 16, ask for the most expensive devices and check the position of the expensive devices,” he said.

Herrera’s suspicions were raised by the questions and he asked them to leave. When he tried to return one of their phones, the children tried unsuccessfully to force their way back into the store.

“For me, it’s tough,” Herrera said. “When I see one kid, 10 years old, a little kid … this is the future for these people.” (RELATED: Florida Police Say They Found Vast Arsenal In Raid Against 11-Year-Old)

Police in Fort Lauderdale are investigating whether the children belong to a larger crime network. They estimate the children hauled off $9,000 worth of electronics. They are asking anyone with information to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
