G$ Lil Ronnie and his five-year-old daughter R’Mani were murdered Monday in Texas in a brazen shooting, according to law enforcement.
Police told TMZ the popular rapper was at a car wash with his young child at the time of the shooting and videos from the scene captured dramatic footage of the crime. Authorities said gunshots erupted at 10:45 a.m. in the Fort Worth suburb of Forest Hill. Initial reports indicated Ronnie and his daughter were both sitting in the interior of his parked while it was being washed. The video shows two men running into the frame and appearing to riddle the car with bullets, tragically killing them both.
Police told TMZ the two men exited a white 4-door Kia and came to Ronni’s car with their guns already drawn.
Several shots were allegedly fired and the suspected shooters were captured on camera as they ran to and away from the rapper’s vehicle. Police said officers arrived on-scene minutes after and tried to save Ronnie and his young daughter, but despite their best efforts, both died.

Police told TMZ the suspects returned to their vehicle and drove away after the shooting.
Disturbing videos quickly began circulating on X showing the alleged gunmen chasing Ronnie around the car wash before he was seen lying dead on the ground near a red vehicle. Police are currently investigating the leaked footage.
Police told TMZ they have identified a shooter and have issued a warrant for his arrest on the charge of murder.
They believe this was a targeted attack and are currently investigating the motive behind the heinous crime.

Social media quickly populated with tributes when news of his death was released, including a touching message from Soulja Boy. He shared an image of himself with Ronnie alongside the message, “RIP to my brudda G$ Lil Ronnie love u fam 😢🕊️.”
