Get ’em, Rich!

It might be an old school thing to do, but I call it a move for victory, as West Virginia football coach Rich Rodriguez has banned his players from being able to dance on TikTok. And his reasoning is on point.

Coming back for his second stint with the Mountaineers as their head coach, Rodriguez told his players the news in an attempt to get rid of cringe and produce wins.

And he’s right … why would a man 18 and older feel the need to dance on TikTok?

It’s corny. (RELATED: University Of Michigan Slapped With Lawsuit By Ticket Seller For $2 Million After School Allegedly Locks Accounts)

“They’re going to be on it, so I’m not banning them from it,” said Rodriguez, who was previously the coach of West Virginia from 2001-07.

The skipper wants to keep a tough guy image rather than looking like a bunch of softies.

“I’m just banning them from dancing on it,” said Rodriguez. “It’s like, look, we try to have a hard edge or whatever, and you’re in there in your tights dancing on TikTok, ain’t quite the image of our program that I want.

“I hope our focus can be on winning football games. How about let’s win the football game and not worry about winning the TikTok?”

Gotta love this …. championships over likes!
