This is absolutely insane footage.

According to biologists, around 1,900 black bears reside in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you do the math, that’s about two bears per square mile.

For the most part, black bears have no interest in being around human beings, but with that being said, they have been seen at campgrounds and anything that can bring them food — or warmth. (RELATED: Jaxson Dart Hunts Down Rare Turkey Just One Day After Boosting His Draft Stock)

And that’s exactly what I’m bringing to you today as a bear was caught on camera literally chillin’ in a hot tub.

Mason Trebony was on vacation when he got the shock of a lifetime, witnessing a black bear wandering on his cabin rental’s deck just to end up in the hot tub. And luckily for us, Trebony got it all on camera.

“This bear walked over my coffee. It’s about to jump down… oh my gosh. It just knocked my jacuzzi top over, and now it just got in my jacuzzi,” said Trebony. “Yes, it’s getting warm. It’s just having a blast. It is in the jacuzzi. I’m glad I wasn’t in the jacuzzi. There’s a black bear in the jacuzzi getting warm. Unbelievable.”

In my nearly 35 years of living, I’ve seen a lot of wacky stuff, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bear hanging out in a hot tub — like actually chillin’ like that. I’ve heard about situations like this, but this is my first time seeing it.

My response: I don’t blame the bear, it looks cold as hell out there.
