The left has made the West a laughing stock with the trans nonsense, and DOGE is trying to put a stop to it.
Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) subcommittee Chairwoman Marjorie Taylor Greene made the announcement Tuesday that a hearing will be held to address the gender eligibility rules that USA Fencing has. The entity currently lets transgender (biological male) athletes participate in the female division.
May 7 is the date that has been scheduled for the hearing.
Greene made the announcement weeks following female fencer Stephanie Turner receiving punishment after she bravely knelt in protest of being forced to compete against a male. Two individuals who have been invited to testify are Turner and USA Fencing board chairman Damien Lehfeldt.
“Women’s sports are for women only. Radical leftists pushing to let biological men compete against women are destroying fair competition and putting female athletes in physical danger. Stephanie Turner had the courage to call out this insanity, and she’s a hero to women across America,” said Greene via the announcement.
“USA Fencing must be held accountable for demeaning women and denying them of the chance to succeed in their own sport. It is out of compliance with President Trump’s executive order and it should not be recognized as the National Governing Body for fencing if it continues to defy the law.”
