Get ’em, Pam!

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued an order to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to look into a situation where New Hampshire parents were blocked from being able to protest a transgender (biological male) athlete.

Taking to Twitter, it was announced Tuesday by Bondi that she has requested the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division to “examine” the situation in New Hampshire. The news from Bondi follows a federal judge ruling Monday that parents are banned from sporting pink wristbands that read “XX,” making a reference to the sex chromosomes of a female.

“I have asked my Civil Rights Division to examine this matter. This DOJ stands with women and their supportive parents,” stated Bondi responding to a tweet from conservative star Riley Gaines about the situation. (RELATED: Gov. In Sept. 2024, multiple parents sported the “XX” pink wristbands in protest of a transgender athlete named Parker Tirrell. The incident went down during a girls’ high school soccer game.

Marcy Kelley, the Superintendent of Bow and Dunbarton School Districts, gave a response to the parents’ wristbands by handing out notices of trespass to them. The order has expired since that time.

The school district ended up being hit with a lawsuit by the parents, making allegations that the district violated their First Amendment rights. They asked the judge to permit them to be able to wear “XX” wristbands, as well as carry signs, at school functions during the case.

Appointed by President George H.W. Bush, U.S. District Court Judge Steven McAuliffe made a ruling in favor of the school district, saying that they were reasonable in stopping parents’ protests.

Pam Bondi ain’t playin’ around! You gotta love it!
