The MLB season is picking up steam.

Let’s take a look at the odds for which two players will separate themselves from the rest by winning MVP at the end of the year, with odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of April 29.

American League MVP 2025

Aaron Judge: -600 (bet $10 to win $11.67 total)

Gunnar Henderson: +4000 (bet $10 to win $410 total)
Jose Ramirez: +5000 (bet $10 to win $510 total)

What to know: Last year’s winner has been this year’s favorite since before Opening Day. Aaron Judge won his second career AL MVP at the conclusion of last season, in conjunction with leading the Yankees to their first World Series berth since 2009. He was also an All-MLB first-team selection for the third time, after leading baseball in home runs (58), RBIs (144) and WAR (10.8), and finishing third in batting average (.322). This season, he’s batting an MLB-best .405, with eight home runs and a 28 RBIs in 29 games. Second behind Judge on the oddsboard is Kansas City’s young superstar, Bobby Witt Jr. He’s batting .315 this season but only has two home runs and 11 RBIs through 29 games.

Shohei Ohtani: +280 (bet $10 to win $38 total)
Kyle Tucker: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Fernando Tatis Jr.: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)
Corbin Carroll: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)

Elly De La Cruz: +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total)
Bryce Harper: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)

What to know: Shohei Ohtani is in the same boat as Judge, opening the year as the favorite after winning the NL MVP last season. He finished second in the league in home runs (54), second in RBIs (130), second in WAR (9.2) and fourth in batting average (.310). Most impressively, he became the first player in MLB history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a single season, all while leading the Dodgers to a World Series title in his first season with the franchise. By winning MVP last year, Ohtani became the second player in MLB history to win MVP in both leagues (Frank Robinson). This season, he’s batting .290 with six home runs in 27 games. Second to Ohtani on the oddsboard is Kyle Tucker, who was traded to the Cubs in the offseason, and leads Chicago with seven homers and 25 RBIs. Chicago, which hasn’t won the NL Central title since 2017, currently sits in first place in the division.
