First lady Melania Trump announced the release of her audiobook May 22 on X, promising to share “perspective” and “clarify the facts.”
“A NEW ERA IN PUBLISHING,” she wrote. “I am honored to bring you Melania – The AI Audiobook – narrated entirely using artificial intelligence in my own voice. Let the future of publishing begin.”
Images of the letter “M” floated across the screen and a futuristic, AI image of the first lady’s face took form with the use of technology.

“My story. My perspective,” she said in a silky and smooth voiceover.
“The truth.”
A narrator’s voice boomed over hers, introducing the concept of the sizzling new project.
“Melania – the audiobook exclusively on MelaniaTrump.com and Eleven Reader,” the male voice says.
The first lady’s official website notes that the AI-generated replica of her voice was “created under Mrs. Trump’s direction and supervision.”

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” Melania said in a video shared on her website.
“As a private person, who has often been the subject of public scrutiny, and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she said.
“I believe it is important to share my perspective. The Truth.”
