A fan of the Pacers has been charged after he allegedly stabbed a New York Knicks fan Friday night at a brewery in Carmel, Indiana while Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals was going on.

A Danny Boy Beer Works employee spoke to police and claimed 24-year-old Jarrett Funke exited the brewery following a brawl, eventually coming back to stab the Knicks fan in the back, per Fox 59.

According to a report from News 8, the Knicks supporter also suffered a broken rib and minor lung tear. Another individual was also injured, suffering a leg laceration after taking a fall. Each man was “bleeding profusely,” per the outlet. (RELATED: Several Injured After Liverpool Championship Parade Allegedly Gets Plowed Through By Driver, Officials Say)

Both of the men allege that Funke “smacked” a New York hat off a fan. Afterwards, Funke allegedly shouted, “F*ck you, you still have a f*cking problem. Take this outside.”

He was then taken away from the opposing fans by his dad.

While the New York supporters were located on a patio, Funke allegedly “stormed through the fence” to attack both of them. One of the fans said that Funke allegedly “displayed a black folding pocket knife to deter (Funke) but repocketed it, as he had no intention of using it,” according to Fox 59.

Funke told police that the Knicks fans sparked up the incident after “talking sh*t,” eventually pushing him and punching him while he was on the ground. However, witnesses spoke to officers and claim that Funke was the “primary aggressor.”

Funke has been hit with several charges: battery by means of a deadly weapon, battery resulting in a serious bodily injury and criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, per court documents via the New York Post. All three charges are felonies.

He is currently in Hamilton County Jail with no bond being set.
