“Power Slap” star Sheena Bathory said a once-mysterious health issue was caused by her ruptured breast implants.
Bathory said she noticed something was wrong with her health following a workout in August, feeling ill at the time. She noted there was unexplained inflammation in her body and she underwent a series of tests and examinations with her doctor, to no avail. She suffered for an additional four weeks before learning that her breast implants broke during a training session and immediate medical intervention was needed.
Bathory said she was crushed when she discovered the root cause of her ailments because she didn’t want her recovery time to impede her fight schedule.
The 32-year-old Hungarian fighter credited her friend for suggesting that she investigate her breast implants to see if they were causing the unexplained pain she was feeling. This prompted her to schedule an MRI.
“We got the result and the right one was completely broken,” Bathory said. The MMA fighter admitted she didn’t feel any pain at all when her implant most likely ruptured.
“I started touching it and there was some difference – this one was definitely like, stiffer, like more formed,” Bathory said, as she described her self-exam. “When I was grabbing it, I was like – something’s not okay.”

She noted the recovery from her implant removal was more painful than the actual rupture.
“The next day … [doctors] immediately took them out, so, currently, I am without breasts. I’m very flat and I’m three pounds lighter,” she said.

Bathory competes in slap, judo, wrestling and MMA and said that the three pound reduction in her weight will actually work to her advantage as it assists her in cutting weight to compete in a different weight class.
She went on to say she is feeling “much better” after having her implants removed, aside from the side effects of the medications.

“I’m just a bit tired and exhausted from the medication,” she said, before revealing she was taking antibiotics. Bathory said she feels “tired and foggy,” but is looking forward to getting over this and returning to fighting.
“Now I have to accept potential fights probably in November,” she said. (RELATED: Crishell Stause Says Both Her ‘Vintage’ Breast Implants Ruptured)
“After I’m feeling 100% good, I will need a four-week training camp and then I’m ready to compete.”
