Netflix teased the highly anticipated “Peaky Blinders” movie by sharing the first snap from the film, and fan reaction proved just how big this flick will be.
Cillian Murphy was featured in two side-by-side images and appeared slightly more grey and aged in the film than he was in the wildly successful series. Fans are gearing up for the trouble that’s sure to come, ‘by order of the Peaky Blinders!’
Murphy reprised his role as Tommy Shelby and is playing double duty as the film’s co-producer.

One of the images showed Murphy sitting alongside creator and writer Stephen Knight on the set of the film.
“Saltburn” star Barry Keoghan will appear alongside Murphy in the movie, as will “Dune” franchise alum Rebecca Ferguson. Tim Roth will be joining the stellar cast that Netflix described as the “epic continuation of the multi-award-winning, six-season gangster saga.”
The film will be set in the World War II period and pick up where the long-running series left off. The show was set in Birmingham, England, between 1919 and 1934, and ran from 2013 to 2022. Murhpy’s character captivated audiences with the gangster scripts, unexpected twists and turns and the ever-charming, all-powerful Shelby who managed to outwit, outperform and overtake the enemies that he sometimes intentionally befriended.
The comment section exploded with messages of excitement as fans celebrated the resurrection of the Shelby family. (RELATED: Rebecca Ferguson Joins Cast Of Highly Anticipated ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie)
