Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has informed the franchise that his preference is to be traded, according to a report Tuesday from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. While “there is nothing imminent,” the report comes after Adams gave a strange answer to a question about how his days as a Raider could be coming to a close soon, which stems from whirlwind speculation that’s been going on regarding Adams potentially being on the outs.
“All I can control is this talk we’re having right here. And then, after we’re done with this, all I can control is the next thing that I’m on to,” stated Adams in a Tuesday morning interview that was done for “Up & Adams with Kay Adams.”
