This is exactly what you do when the “C” is on your jersey…
Connor McDavid, the captain of the Edmonton Oilers, gets put into a simple category by a lot of hockey fans: Emotionless, robotic and just plain ol’ boring when it comes to the public.
However, that might all change Friday as Prime Video is dropping a new docuseries named “Faceoff: Inside the NHL,” which features McDavid. (RELATED: ‘Murderers Have Been Let Off Quicker’: ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith Absolutely Rips MLB To Shreds After Pete Rose’s Death)
Part of this trailer that you’re about to see was actually circulated in September in another trailer. Then, McDavid was shown getting mega-emotional while cursing out his teammates following a Game 2 defeat against the Florida Panthers during the Stanley Cup Final that had his Oilers suffer a 2-0 series deficit.
A longer version of the rant was revealed Thursday in a new trailer, and boy oh boy, did McDavid go off — even labeling his teammates as “not f*cking good enough.”

Even though I’m a Florida Panthers fan, I absolutely love Connor McDavid in this moment, but my biggest takeaway is this goober who tried to block the camera from seeing McDavid.
I’m sitting there like… Dude, you already let the camera get a good 30 seconds of McDavid ranting and raving before you finally blocked the view, and then the camera was still picking up the audio. What was the point?
Golden content nearly got destroyed, but fortunately, ol’ boy isn’t the best at his job.
