If you know the background of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, then you’re aware that he didn’t have a father while growing up. And as a result, he’s been on the record multiple times saying how he enjoys every moment with his own three kids.

Well, that got extraordinarily elevated in flying colors Sunday night, as he stepped on an NBA court with his son, Bronny James, with both of them being in a Lake Show jersey. To most of us, it’s big-time basketball history, but to LBJ, it’s the ultimate “proud father” moment. And though we’re not normally fond of the self-proclaimed king here at the Daily Caller, you can’t help but to feel a little happy for him.

During the first half of the Lakers preseason game taking on the Phoenix Suns, LeBron and Bronny became the first father-son duo ever to play in an NBA contest together. Playing with each other in the second quarter, the sight lasted a little over four minutes.

And to make it even cooler, this all happened on Bronny’s 20th birthday.

No matter how you feel about LeBron, you’ve gotta find this pretty damn cool — special stuff.
