Shoutout to Ted Cruz for this! A true American patriot!
Since being coming to the White House almost four years ago, the Biden administration has been non-stop when it comes to public acts that have no justification. But we all know how politics is — it’s the stuff that doesn’t make it to the surface that causes the most irritation.
For example, Biden’s Department of Defense (DOD) imposed a policy in February 2023 that prevents uniformed servicemembers from being able to take part in a large American flag’s unfurling before sporting events.
The DOD issued a memo because of sporting event flags being unfurled and shown horizontally. In other words, there was no real reason for the policy, and all it did was ruin fun for our military who show up to games. On top of that, it also ruined it for fans who would’ve had the chance to show gratitude. Back in the summer, Cruz made the announcement for a proposed bill that he cooked up to end the DOD’s ridiculous policy, and to once again permit servicemembers to join in on American flag activities at sporting events.
Well, God is good, ladies and gentlemen. Because the bill, named the Updating National Flag Use to Reaffirm Liberty (UNFURL) Act, was incorporated into the recently passed Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act, per the senator.
And all of this comes after this recent glory from Cruz:
