Reality television star Heidi Montag selfishly whined about losing her designer clothes in the wildfires just days after practically begging fans for money.
Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt, best known for their time on “The Hills,” were among the first stars to share that they had lost their home in the Los Angeles wildfires. Pratt videotaped the debris and told fans they had “lost everything” shortly before taking to social media asking the general public to stream his wife’s music so they can earn more money. Montag’s album soared after the appeal for cash.
Fast forward just two weeks and you’ll hear all about the tragedy. Montag’s tone-deaf Monday interview with Vogue revealed the star was sad after mourning the loss of her designer clothes.
The Los Angeles wildfires devastated entire communities. So many people were displaced after losing their homes to the fire, and some even lost their lives.
For Montag, the real horror and trauma she’s facing is a direct result of the sudden and tragic loss of her fancy pants and shoes.
The reality star was asked how she’s adjusting after the fires, Montag said, “You know, I’m very conflicted with it. It sounds silly, but I was so sad about losing my clothes.”
She went on to tell Vogue, “They’re just things, but they’re things that I spent 15 to 20 years collecting.”
Perhaps we should all take a moment to say a prayer for the rich girl’s luxury items.
Montag continued her utterly self-indulgent rant.
“Things I wore to a special place, with special people. There’s a lot I can’t replace, ” Montag told Vogue.
The whining over material items continued.
“Shoes I perfectly curated, like a pair of black pumps or boots. I keep telling myself, I rented them in this life!”
Just when I thought this ego maniac couldn’t possibly say anything more stupid, she took me by surprise.
“I only grabbed two pairs of jeans, and I’m such a jean girl,” she said.
“I had a new pair of Paige jeans that just make me feel like me. I went to Marshalls the other day and I bought a bunch of discounted sweaters. They’re good quality, about $20 dollars, but they make me feel so much better. I’m still looking back at TikToks and seeing, like, a sweater I wore and reminiscing.”
I’d like to carve out a moment of silence for Montag. I’m sure the firefighters risking their lives in the fires will feel the heat of her insults as they learn they utterly failed to save her wardrobe. Perhaps we can all donate more money so the spoiled celebrity can buy more things …(RELATED: ‘Nobody Gives A Flying F*ck’: Tommy Lee Calls Out Tone Deaf Musicians For Promoting Themselves While Los Angeles Burns)
Congratulations, Montag, you’ve finally won an award — for the most selfish interview we’ve come across in a long while.
