Bombshell bald beauty Amber Rose broke the internet when she spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in the summer of 2024, but her newfound love affair with the MAGA movement isn’t over yet.
Rose, who made a lateral career from video vixen to OnlyFans, will host a “WE F*CK WITH TRUMP” rally at Las Vegas gentlemen’s club Peppermint Hippo just days before the election. Fellow adult entertainer Richelle Ryan, who has been outspoken in her support for Donald Trump, will join Rose.
“Saturday November 2nd! Amber Rose & Richelle Ryan host our celebration of America!” the club proudly declared with a flyer on Instagram.
So when we call the conservative movement a big tent, we sure as hell mean it. The Republican Party has moved away from a prudish conservatism (that doesn’t actually conserve anything), turning the Left’s once-accurate caricature of a stodgy, uptight Right into one big joke.
Anecdotally, I’d say it’s more a grassroots phenomenon. When Rose spoke at the RNC, I made fun of her face tattoo while still praising her speech and admitting I’m a fan from her 2000’s hip-hop days. Unexpectedly, the piece turned out to be the most contentious thing I’ve ever written. I was hit with hundreds of comments from Daily Caller readers and X users, almost all claiming that I sounded like a judgmental leftist. Fair, fair — I might have been a bit harsh; Rose spoke earnestly on her transformation away from the Democratic Party, a message that Americans need to hear. But I still think it would have been wise to put some concealer over the face tat.
My point is that, contrary to the Leftist narrative, there are conservative Americans who don’t give a damn about who you are or what you look like — they only care what you believe. And that’s a good thing.
Conservatives have seen how civility politics were weaponized against them in the Trump era. The same pearl clutching that Republican elites used to reserve for unwashed hippies, smug atheists and communist college students was immediately trained at Donald Trump the moment he actually threatened to make good on the promise of American restoration. And they’ve seen how, as his supporters, that ire quickly gets targeted at them.
Grassroots conservatives are tired of being called stupid, backward “deplorables” in a transparent effort to delegitimize their interest in the small-d democratic process. And they’ll be damned if they use that same tactic against others who wish to join them.
So, to Mses. Ryan and Rose, it’s safe to say the MAGA movement is happy to have you.
