Chilling video footage shows Macklemore’s nanny pounding on a neighbor’s door for help after an allegedly violent home invasion at the star’s home June 7.

The Seattle Police Department reported that “suspects entered a residence and confronted the victim inside of the house. One of the suspects pepper sprayed the victim and held her to the ground while they ransacked the residence stealing thousands of dollars of items.” The statement went on to say, “The suspects were inside for several minutes until the victim was able to get free and call the police.”

The Seattle Times reported June 9 that the famous singer’s three children were inside the home at the time of the alleged robbery.

The star’s nanny ran out of the home in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood and was seen begging for help on a video shared by TMZ.  The police statement noted that the Robbery Unit and Latent Print unit responded to the scene shortly before 1:00 a.m.

She claimed two men were wearing face masks, gloves, and vests “looking tactical in nature” and were still inside the home, according to The Seattle Times. The outlet reported that police said the home that was burglarized belonged to a “high profile individual,” but the address listed in the report appeared to match Macklemore’s voting record. It is not clear if the famous singer was inside the home.

The nanny told an officer that she had put the kids to bed before she saw two men entering from a patio door. She told police that one of the men helped her clean the spray out of her eyes “for some unexplainable reason” and noted that he looked “fearful,” according to The Seattle Times.

She alleged the other man asked where the “jewels” were, and she led them to the valuables that were within the home. The suspects took jewelry, watches and shoes before pushing the nanny to the ground and taking her phone, the outlet reported.

“Thousands of dollars of items” were reportedly stolen.

The nanny claimed she bit one of the men before she was able to escape.

There were no reports of firearms being used. (RELATED: Eminem Stalker, Matthew David Hughes, Convicted Following Second Home Incident: REPORT)
